Route Matching

An activity joins a named route when BOTH its physical endpoints are within the chosen distance of the route representative’s endpoints AND its fingerprint similarity to the route’s canonical fingerprint meets the coverage threshold. Coverage is the primary filter: endpoint-only is not enough, because different routes can share the same start/end (e.g. two home-return loops with different middles). Typical real-world similarity is 80–95%.
